While attending PowerZone I have grown closer to God and learned to praise Him wherever I go. If I hadn’t come to PowerZone, I don’t think I would be as close to God as I am now. While I have been attending PowerZone, I have been learning how to be a leader. God has taught me how to hold on to Him.

Since I started going to PowerZone I have learned how to be more social, to not conform to sinful acts, to be more open to other people’s thoughts and to open up to people that I can trust. If I had never attended PowerZone, I would probably be doing drugs to solve my depression problems. I have learned how to become a leader. Being a leader is fun and I really enjoy it.

At PowerZone I have learned to be a different kind of Christian. Without the things that I learned at PowerZone, I think I would probably be a bad kid. I’ve learned to respect my parents. At PowerZone I have also learned to enjoy worship music and learned how to worship Him. I have learned how to be a leader.

One of the things that I have learned at PowerZone is to open up to God and the people around me. At PowerZone I have learned that I don’t need to get into fights to solve problems. I am not the quiet one in the back of the room anymore. I have many brothers and sisters at PowerZone. God has taught me to follow as well as lead and not to hate.

At PowerZone I have learned to be a leader and I am now on the student leadership team. I have also learned not to disrespect my parents. One of my goals is to learn to teach other kids about God. If I wasn’t going to PowerZone I would probably be out on the streets and maybe doing drugs. One of the most important things that I have learned is that I have a purpose in life and I should “shine” and tell people about Him. I hope one day to follow Darby’s example (be involved in YWAM) and teach children about the Lord.

Before I found the Lord I was in a lot of trouble, using drugs and living a party kind of life. At PowerZone I have learned that perseverance is what we need to get closer to God. I have found that reading my Bible, seeking after God and pushing forward with Him are what I need to succeed in life. My life has been helped by coming to PowerZone because I know that I wouldn’t be as close to people my age as I am now. I have some close Christian friendships at PowerZone. I have learned that no matter how different we are, we really are all the same.
